Project Outcome and Outputs: More adolescent of 10-19 years, boys and girls in selected districts are behaving in a gender equitable way and making use of adolescent sexual, reproductive health information and services. This outcome will be achieved through following outputs:

Increase in the number of adolescents in gender equitable attitude

Increase in knowledge among adolescents regarding gender-based violence and sexual, reproductive health and rights and access to related services
Project Duration: The project started in May 2018 and will continue up to March 2022.
Location: Ramu and Chakaria Upazila of Cox’s Bazar district.

Target Beneficiaries: 2,200 students of 30 Secondary Schools and Madrasas of Ramu and Chakaria Upazila of Cox’s Bazar.
Project Briefing: Strengthening SRHR and GBV Prevention Services in Host Communities of Cox’s Bazar under Generation Breakthrough Project is ongoing. The project is being implementing with the support of UNFPA and Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE). Key activities of this project include:

Increased access to comprehensive A-SRHR and GBV prevention information.

Increased access to comprehensive adolescent friendly SRHR/GBV services among adolescents and young people aged 10-19 in project areas.

Developed an effective model for GBV prevention, A-SRHR and gender equity for advocacy and up-scaling based on evidence created from the project.
