1. Celebration of ‘Mujib Barsho and Golden Jubilee of independence:
CWFD has a primary school for slum children. The students celebrated the ‘Mujib Barsho’ and 50 years of ‘Muktijuddho’ from February, 2020 to March, 2021 (one year).The total number of the students is 80 from class 1 to class five. The students of class 4 and class 5 attended to celebrate the above mentioned events:
The events were:
- a) Reading books:
1.Chhotoder Bangabandhu 2.Muktijuddher Itihash
- b) Visit the:
– Bangabandhu Museu
– Muktijuddho Museum
After the events, the students wrote their experience and shared it in a discussion meeting. At the end a competition ceremony was held among the students to draw pictures on the imagination of the Muktijuddho 17th of March 2021 and also an essay writing competition was held on their visit to “Muktijuddho Jadughar”. Besides a discussion meeting was arranged on the book reading.
- c) Dissemination meeting of the Strategy Planning
The strategy plan of CWFD was developed for the period of 2021-2030. This plan was disseminated with the on 4th of December, 2021 with 80 participants from Government, NGOs, Private organizations, Civil Society, Executive members of CWFD Head office and the program staff of different areas of CWFD.
