Banasree is mainly a residential area for middle and lower middle class population. CWFD’s own office building is located in this area. When CWFD moved into this facility there was not any health facility available in this area. Therefore, CWFD decided to start a small clinic named as Nibedita Clinic.

Services:

Child health: As the organization is located in an area where middle and lower middle-class population reside, children of this area getting tremendous facilities from this organization for outdoor health services, vaccination, nebulization of respiratory distress children, maintaining growth chart advice about health problem, follow up and refereed of severely sick children after giving the primary treatment. The organization also provides some limited lab facilities for the children.

Maternal health: As the mental and physical health of the children is very closely related to the mother. So, this organization provides services not only to the children but also to mothers. The services to mothers by this organization are antenatal and postnatal checkup, vaccination during pregnancy, advice for exclusive breastfeeding up to 6 months and weaning and advice for health care improvement at home. Like the children, this organization also provides some limited lab investigation to pregnant women.

Family Planning: Services are for oral pill (Shukhi), Injection Depo Provera, and condom.

Adolescent Reproductive health: Vaccine for adolescents like-Tetanus Toxoid (TT) and Measles-Rubella (MR) and counseling and advice about menstruation hygiene management

General Patient management: Besides maternal and child health problem this organization gives treatment and advice to the general population.

EPI: According to the government EPI schedule, this clinic provides all the schedule vaccines to the children up to 15 months.

Private vaccine other than EPI: Private vaccine program facility for adults and children are available in this clinic.
This clinic has been operating without any funding agency. Fund is generating through individual donations and from the provision of service charges.
