Population Coverage and Service Areas

According to the report of FY: July 2024-June 2025, CWFD is working in 06 divisions with different interventions in Bangladesh. The organization is covering over 1.85 million population and providing services to adolescent, youth, women and men beneficiaries through our diversified projects in 63 Districts, 113 Upazilas and 414 Unions, and 1330 Wards.

CWFD is providing two health care services under the brand name “NIBEDITA”- Saleha Khanam Nibedita Clinic and Nibedita Mental Health Centre. These services are being operated from CWFD Head Office everyday except on Fridays and Govt. Holidays. Note: USAID funded “Surjer Hashi Clinic” (24 clinics) which was the largest program of CWFD implemented since 1976 under different names. In 2013 these health programmes were renamed as “Surjer Hashi” and it was handed over to the Shurjer Hashi Network on January 2019.

Service Centers/Project offices: In total CWFD has 41 Community Mobilization (CMP) project offices all over Bangladesh. CMP is being implemented in 14 districts and 33 upazilas of Bangladesh. They are- Faridpur (Bhanga, Nagarkanda), Madaripur (Rajoir, Kalkini), Gopalganj (Muksudpur), Barishal (Gounadi, Babugonj, Wajirpur, Barishal Sadar), Jhalokati (Jhalokati Sadar, Nalchity, Rajapur, Kathalia,), Pirojpur (Bandaria, Mathbaria, Kawkhali, Swarupkati), Chandpur (Haziganj, Shaharasti, Kachua, Faridgonj, Jamalpur (Madargonj, Sorishabari), Tangail (Dhonbari, Gopalpur, Basail, Delduar), Manikgonj (Ghior, Daulatpur), Khulna (Rupsha), Bagerhat (Morrelgonj), Patuakhali (Kalapara), Barguna (Amtali). This project is funded by Social Marketing Company (SMC).

Integrated Tuberculosis Care & and Prevention for enhancing case findings, health system strengthening & sustainability project funded by GFATM through BRAC has 08 TB clinics (Uttara, Lalbag, Jurain, Gandaria, Pallabi, Tejgaon, Khilkhet and Wari) in Dhaka city. Additionally, Two services- Saleha Khanam Nibedita (SKN) Health Clinic and Nibedita Mental Health Centre are being operated from CWFD Head Office located in Banasree, Rampura, Dhaka.
